Local attractions
The Little English School is within easy reach of some of the best wildlife parks and historical attractions in England.
Wingham Wildlife Park
Just a few miles outside Broadstairs is one of the best wildlife parks in Kent.
Wingham Wildlife Park provides a safe, child-friendly environment perfectly suited to letting your children explore many types of wildlife, from wild birds to a collection of tame animals such as deer, goats, pigs and wallabys. There are regular "meet the animals" sessions, where children can handle selected animals such as snakes and tarantulas.
Wow! Your child can become a "Keeper for a Day"
This involves working alongside the park's keepers, feeding and caring for animals such as monkeys, lemurs, otters and meercats..
What an experience!
Canterbury and its Magnificent Cathedral
Broadstairs is just 20 miles (31 kilometres) from the historic city of Canterbury with its world-famous cathedral and ancient cobbled streets.
If you want to see real timber structured 16th century Tudor houses and cottages, Canterbury is the place to go!
This is one of our favourite places to take our students, where they enjoy leisurely tours on the river, shopping or sight-seeing.
Tree Jumping at The Hop Farm
Great for team-work and confidence building!
One of the most exciting new venues is the Tree Jumpers Sky Park at the Hop Farm at Tonbridge in Kent, where students can experience the thrill of climbing and tree-jumping at dizzying heights!
All activities are strictly risk-assessed and children are supervised closely at all times, of course! This is a great day out!
